Learning and Teaching
E-Safety
Every year as a school we teach our students the importance of safe device use. A part of this learning is teaching the students to understand their responsibilities as individuals. Signing a contract is a part of this process and makes them accountable for their behaviour and actions when using a device at school to support their learning.
The Student Digital Technologies and ICT Agreement forms are issued to all Prep to Grade 6 families through Compass, not a traditional hard copy. The Agreement includes age appropriate information about expectations and responsibilities for using Digital Technologies and ICT. Breaches of this Agreement will be followed in line with the school policy. We ask all families to submit the Student Digital Technologies Agreement by answering the questions in the Compass event and providing consent by Sunday 23rd February.
The E- Safety Commission has a range of resources for parents to assist you to understand what children could be accessing when they are given a device and we highly recommend you exploring this, especially if you have given your child the responsibility of their own device at home. Goal Setting Meetings
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all of the families who attended the Prep to Grade 6 Goal Setting meetings this week. It was wonderful to see so many of you taking the time to connect with your child's class teacher. These meetings provide a valuable opportunity to set academic goals and ensure a strong start to the new school year. We truly appreciate your involvement in supporting your child’s educational journey and look forward to working together for a successful year ahead.
We also look forward to welcoming our Kinder families for their goal-setting meetings on Wednesday 5th of March, and Thursday 6th March.
Information for the 3/4 Red Goal Setting meetings will be shared with families once Mr Fabrizio returns.
