The 1/2 classes have been very busy in the Art room this term. We learnt all about the work of Yayoi Kusama, a Japanese artist who is known for her extensive use of polka dots and for her oversized sculptures.

With her work as our inspiration (Mrs Topham was lucky enough to see her exhibition in Melbourne) students created their own Yayoi inspired flower sculptures using recycled paper pulp and a paper plate. Don’t they look amazing!
